The Biggest Polish Balloon Decoration 2010
'The Biggest Polish Balloon Decoration 2010' was organised by BalloonsIT, and Party Deco, BELBAL distributor in Poland. The event took place from Thursday the 25th of February till Sunday the 28th of February 2010 at the Hotel Smithy Napoleonic, in Teresin, near Warsaw.
The main idea of the project was to create within 3 days an underwater decoration in a space of approximately 600 square metres using 100.000 balloons (round and modelling).
About 90 decorators and students from Poland and other European countries joined the creation of the 'Under the Sea' themed decoration.
Divided into 9 to 12 teams, students learned different basics and advanced balloon techniques from their team leaders. The decoration room was open for 16 hours per day, giving everybody enough time to practise and finish their sculpture.
Parallel with the Big decoration, 12 seminars were given by 6 teachers in separate training rooms.
'It was a very interesting event for both students, advanced decorators and twisters. Never did we experience such an exchange of knowledge and experience and creativity as on this year's event.' Said Michael Gjerek, originator of the project. 'Beginners learned from advanced decorators.
Decorators and twisters exchanged new techniques. This was really creativity at work.'
'We thank all the attendees, teachers and sponsors for helping to make this event into a big success. We have started to prepare for the next biggest Balloon Decoration Event in Poland and Russia.' said Michael Gjerek - BELBAL Marketing.

Very nice pictures. I was quiet afraid, when I soa you and Artur bringing the lights. But the light gave the final touch, specially with changing the colors.

WOW! Beautiful! Great designs, especially the fish. I loved the color combinations, especially the jellyfish. Very precise and clean.
