Creating a World of Colour

Welcome to the first BalloonsIT^TM photo exhibition, where you will discover 35 balloon images developed by our technical editor Michael Gjerek. This exhibition is aimed to present a different picture of the balloon as a medium.
 
About the photographer

Michael Gjerek (born 1973) is a professional balloon decorator based in Slovenia. He primarily photographs balloon decorations, using his Canon digital camera.
In July 2005, he began taking this balloon photos to gain a new perspective of our/his balloon world. Michael specialises in close-up photography. He combines balloons with different materials in different environments and presents them in what we believe to be a completely new way. Michael's desire is to discover, enjoy, record and share the wonderful beauty of balloons. His motive is ' I love what I do and I hope that comes out in the photographs I take' .

As a balloonist that goes gaga over color ( I once got so excited over the color of a cooked corn husk that people still tease me about it!) I have to tell you how awe inspiring and exciting it was to see your beautiful photography. Your imagination is brilliant! Thank you for creating this and sharing.  Posters of this work would be wonderful.
I think my favorites are biodegradability and roof, though I loved them all.

Your shots on the BalloonsIT Photo Exhibition site are totally inspiring and make me want to set up a series of my own style shots.
Your ability to interpret the humble balloon is so clear and precise, I congratulate you.
I know from my own experience that traditionally the 'display' shots of the products are plain boring, you have given them a consistent magic.
In the meantime, BRAVO!

Beyond my wildest imagination.
These would be the coolest images to use in our store fronts and in our print advertising..... it truly would change the way the world see balloons.
Hey Pioneer, Betallatex using these images in print advertising such as Special Event, Event Solutions etc.  this would really give the industry a new view of what a little latex can do....
