Those three days were really incredible!
Twice as many participants as last year, illustrating the growth and development of the balloon decoration industry in
The great commitment of the participants during the workshops and the many conversations held during the event lead me to believe that the time of simple straightforward decorations is over in
The market wants new and fresh ideas. All of the participants understand this, and it was a great to see balloon decorators meticulously working on fancy arches and balloon compositions including live flowers, crêpe paper, lights and tulles.
It was great pleasure to see such ambitious students! Some of the participants even skipped their dinner in order to continue with the decoration work.
One of the objectives of the meeting was to integrate and exchange experience.
The end of workshops was by no means the end of the meeting. Long discussions regarding various decoration topics were held long after dinner.
We will surely get in touch more often than once a year. Many of the course participants have decided to join BalloonsIT – so, we will meet each other in the virtual reality as well.
Our event turned out to be a great success. We are considering including elements of a decoration competition next year – we can already see potential contestants just waiting for a signal to compete.
I'd like to say great “Thank You” to our sponsor BELBAL, and all our teachers: Michael Gjerek from BalloonsIT, Deco Team from
The Dekoracje Apollo Team
